I started and occasionally host this weekly audio interview with a prominent researcher, college leader, or Chronicle reporter about big ideas in higher education. One of the first guests was Brewster Kahle, director of the nonprofit Internet Archive and leader of the Open Content Alliance, a large-scale book-scanning project, who outlined his vision for digital libraries.

Overcoming the 'Curse of Red Brick'
A tour of the University of Pennsylvania's new engineering building, whose green color stirred controversy among those who felt that red brick better represented the campus' heritage. I shot and edited this short video to supplement a special section of The Chronicle of Higher Education about campus architecture.
I led a team in this 5-day filmmaking competition in March 2007. We planned, shot, and edited a 7-minute documentary.
I edited and served as assistant director
for this feature-length film about love, betrayal, friendship,
and trust. The Ties That Bind was chosen as an official selection
in the Spaghetti Junction Urban Film Festival, 2006. The film
has also shown in theaters in Washington, DC.
In 2003 and 2004 I directed and edited 10-minute
films as part of this annual filmmaking contest in which all
writing, production, and editing must be completed in a single
weekend.
