Served as the liason between the newsroom and Web production staffs to increase the newspaper's level and variety of online content. Started new blogs on topics including college fundraising, the 2008 election, campus architecture, and academic blogging. Oversaw and occasionally hosted The Chronicle's first weekly podcast. Worked with reporters to produce multimedia reports.

Led coverage of information technology for print and online editions, managing a staff of five reporters and working with interns and stringers.
