I’ve started a podcast!
I’m focusing on AI and education, exploring what it means to teach and learn when chatbots and other generative AI can do work that was once thought to be uniquely human. The podcast is called Learning Curve, the first episode dropped today.
Listen on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you listen. And please follow the podcast wherever you listen.
I’m excited to be back on the microphone and talking with educators, students, and tech leaders about where AI might be helpful in education, and to sort out what learning needs protecting in the AI gold rush.
UPDATES:
I joined Bonni Stachoviak’s Teaching in Higher Ed podcast and brought clips from the first few episodes to talk about themes I’m hearing so far.
John Warner featured the podcast in his column for Inside Higher Ed.
The episode I co-produced with student journalists at the University of Minnesota ran as an episode of their In the know podcast.
The Future U. podcast, where I’m helping out as a producer this season, ran an episode of Learning Curve on their feed, highlighting the issue of how AI impacts student motivation.
I talked with Mike Palmer about what I’m learning from my early episodes for the Trending in Education podcast.
And I joined a lively conversation with the guys on the BustEd Pencils podcast as well.
